A24 is an independent movie studio that releases movies “from a distinct point of view.” This book takes a look at A24’s progress since their conception in 2013. For each year there is a spread highlighting a few of their most popular films, including plot summaries, ratings, behind the scenes trivia, and quotes from directors that emphasize their processes. The highlight spreads select one film from the year that stands out for its representation of a unique angle. For example, the 2015 film, Room presents the unique point of view of a mother who has to lie to protect her child.
